Natural Habitat Adventures (Nat Hab), a nature-focused global adventure travel company based in Boulder, Colorado, is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join the Systems Department. The IT Support Specialist provides technical assistance by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. They install, configure, and maintain IT systems, ensuring smooth operations and minimizing downtime. Additionally, they offer guidance on best practices and escalate complex problems when necessary. This is a full-time, exempt position.
This position is open to local hires, within one hour of Louisville, CO, as the role requires working in-office at least four days per week. RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform level 1 IT support work as one of the primary tech contacts during business hours (and occasional after-hours).
· Troubleshoot, resolve, and maintain fixes to user hardware, software, and business applications.
· Contribute to technical documentation and technological improvements at Nat Hab.
· Validate/demonstrate new technologies and software before assisting with rollout to users.
· Manage and track support tickets through our helpdesk system.
· Additional duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Candidate has earned at minimum a CompTIA A+ certificate or equivalent knowledge-based qualification.
· At least 1 year of customer service/hospitality experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
· Experience with IT ticketing/helpdesk systems.
· Familiarity with PC hardware maintenance and assembly.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Windows OS, Windows Server, Basic PowerShell, and Microsoft SharePoint (basic familiarity with Mac OS is a plus).
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in solving technical issues in a multi-platform technology ecosystem.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate technical information in simple to understand terms.
· Strong customer service skills with a high level of patience are essential, particularly when assisting office staff who may have varying levels of technical proficiency.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with high levels of integrity, maturity and enthusiasm.
· A zealous learner that has a passion for the work.
· Shares a deep respect for our mission of conservation through exploration.
· Able to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds.
COMPENSATION
Starting salary range: $55,000-60,000 plus annual bonus. Compensation commensurate with experience. (Per Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, employers must include compensation ranges in job postings). This is a full-time exempt position.

LOCATION AND TRAVEL
This position requires candidates to reside within a one-hour drive of our Louisville, Colorado office as the role requires working in-office at least four days per week.
All employees are required to travel to the Louisville, CO office at least two weeks a year for our annual Springfest and Winterfest work weeks.
This location and travel policy is subject to change at the company’s discretion.
WORKING HOURS
Our standard company hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MT. On Saturdays, we are open from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM for select members of our guest-facing teams. Additional hours may be required as needed to meet your goals and support business needs.
