JOB TITLE:   

Photography and Graphic Design 

JOB PURPOSE:   

Gather content for Campus Recreation events, trips, and programs. It’s important that this person is able to work with all Campus Rec program areas to get content that engages students and members. 

Utilize creativity to edit and form content that represents how Campus Recreation supports the UW community.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Help keep track of events that Campus Recreation is putting on to gather content.
  • Be flexible and be able to gather content from different Campus Recreation events and programs.
  • Communicate effectively with others on the Campus Rec marketing team.
  • Collaborate with all Campus Rec Program Areas to gather content.
  • Adhere to the University of Wyoming marketing standards in all content.
  • Brainstorm new ideas for content that engages students and members.
  • Utilize technology and editing to enhance the quality of content.
  • Experience with Canva and the Adobe Suite: Lightroom; Photoshop; Premier Pro; etc.
  • Experience photo and raw file editing

SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:  

  • Assist in making sure we’re able to get content from events through Campus Recreation.
  • Utilize creativity to think of new ways to capture Campus Recreation Programs.
  • Be collaborative and outgoing.

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:

This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

University of Wyoming Student

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Experience working on Illustrator 
  • Experience working on After Effects
  • Experience with photography and photo editing
  • Experience using Canva
