Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking an Employment Support Professional to be part of our Supported Employment Team in Brevard, NC.
The Employment Support Professional (ESP) is responsible for implementing the day to day functions of the IPS-Supported Employment Team. The ESP will work collaboratively with clients and employers to develop and provide employment opportunities, psychiatric rehabilitation and vocational education services. Responsibilities include:
Complete vocational assessments with clients to assess interests.
Provide job coaching at employment sites.
Assist clients in the creation of environmental support.
Teach clients necessary skills for attempting to secure and retain employment.
Coach clients around identifying strengths in relation to living, current skills, learning ability, work history, and social skills.
Schedule, coordinate, and obtain individualized employment opportunities with clients.
Assist with the job application process.
Help clients build interview skills.
Provide assistance and encouragement to Eligible Consumers to explore vocational goals, strengths, and problems.
