The Job
- As Sous Chef, you are responsible for effectively managing the Kitchen team to accomplish daily tasks; ensuring the proper operation of the AM restaurant production, breakfast buffet, a la carte service, and Room Service; and understanding the operating goals of the hotel.
- You must actively participate in all aspects of the Kitchen operation; supervise the performance, attendance, appearance, and conduct of the Kitchen team; and assist with scheduling, payroll, hiring, training, discipline, and inventory.
- You must ensure must ensure the Kitchen team maximizes the guest experience by achieving all service standards, maintaining consistent quality of service, exceeding expectations, and efficiently completing daily departmental objectives.

To be successful as our new Sous Chef you:
- Minimum of four to six years of experience in culinary field or any similar combination of education and experience. Supervisory experience helpful. Knowledge of safety programs and regulations.
- Two or more years of experience working as a Sous Chef in a fine dining restaurant is preferred.
- Mathematical development sufficient enough to be able to apply fractions, percentages, ratio and proportion.
- A combination of vocational education, apprentice training, in-plant training, on the job training, or essential experience in other related jobs.
