JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Ski School Sales Specialist
DEPARTMENT: Mountain Sports School Sales
REPORTS TO: MSS Sales Manager
FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt
CLASSIFICATION: Seasonal FT/PT
GENERAL PURPOSE
- To provide efficient sales and reservations of Class Lessons for Children and Adults, Lift tickets, Rental Packages as well as other Mountain Sports School Products.
- To provide the highest level of service for our customers.
- This position has the opportunity to train for the position of Sales Reservationists.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Through active participation in training, gain a thorough knowledge of the Resort POS Sales System.
- Provide guests with product information and assist customers in selecting the lesson product(s) best suited to their needs and goals.
- Understand all aspects of the Mountain Sports School Operation including booking procedures for private lessons and Childcare, and on-snow procedures.
- Understand the unique aspects of each sales location: Bridger Activities Desk, Kids Ranch, Jackson Hole Sports, and Four Seasons.
- Maintain up-to-date information on availability and book lessons accordingly.
- Assure proper cash handling and charge procedures.
- Assist in other aspects of the Mountain Sports School Operation as needed.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS: KIDS RANCH
- Assist customers in our multi-purpose Children’s Sales, Childcare and lesson facility, specializing in activities for children ages 6 months to 17 years.
- Assist in the management of on-line reservations, including taking phone reservations, answering e-mail, processing and registering guests.
- Provide customers with an efficient check in process and collection of paperwork including Liability Release forms.
- Assist in all aspects of the Kids Ranch and Mountain Sports School Operation, as needed, including the magic carpet, daycare and lunch facilities.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS: BRIDGER ACTIVITIES DESK
- Assist customers in our main Sales facility, specializing in class lesson products, lift tickets, rental packages, and local programs for adults.
- Assist in other aspects of the Mountain Sports School Operation as needed.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
- Insure that all liability release forms and other paperwork are accurately signed and filed.
- Maintain high standards regarding policies and procedures of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
- Maintain a neat, clean and safe work area and building.
- Provide general information regarding other areas of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Operation.

EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING:
EXPERIENCE:
- Customer Service experience- in person and over phone
- Computer experience in school or business environment
- Cashiering and money handling
