Reports to: Senior Vice President of Compliance and Risk
Functions Supervised: Enterprise Risk Administration
Primary Functions: The Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk will be responsible for supervising the enterprise risk department, developing the credit union’s model risk management program, monitoring and refining enterprise risk appetite statements and metrics for key risks, and continuing to mature the enterprise risk program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, information technology, or related fields expected. MBA, Juris Doctorate (JD), and/or other applicable professional certification preferred.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Not Applicable
Experience/Skills: Minimum of ten years of experience working at a senior level in financial services or other highly regulated industry; direct experience with regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management, and second-line challenge functions. Impeccable ethical reputation and strong emotional intelligence. Previous executive-level experience strongly preferred. Ability to read, draft, analyze and interpret financial reports, legal documents, and professional publications. Deep understanding of the role enterprise risk can play in supporting business and strategic objectives of a large credit union. Proven track record of working well and influencing peers, as well as members of a senior management team. Experience interacting and working successfully with federal regulators. Flexible approach to new projects, requirements, and workplace demands. Possess strong project management, organizational, analytical, presentation and leadership skills. Proven successful leadership of change management initiatives. Familiarity with Agile. Excellent and demonstrable oral and written communication skills. High emotional intelligence, good judgment, and sense of humor. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products.

Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk (Category 05)
Salary Pay Range: $99,419 - $173,070 annually. Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.
In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
