As aΒ Semi Tanker/Trailer Mechanic, you will:

  • Safety First: Follow safety protocols, troubleshoot breakdowns, and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain and Repair: Conduct inspections, diagnostic tests, and repairs on tankers. Work with major assemblies, components, and systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Handle Diverse Equipment: Work with tank trailers, flat beds, suspensions, brakes, air systems, and more. Operate various tools and machinery safely.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Training or experience as a diesel and/or heavy-duty equipment mechanic is required. An associate degree in diesel technology or completion of an applicable apprenticeship is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of tank trailers, brakes, air systems, and Civacon controls. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are a must.
  • Certifications: National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification and CDL are strongly preferred. Valid driver’s license required.
  • Additional: Aluminum welding experience is a plus.
