Your Role as a Semi Tanker/Trailer Mechanic:

Safety-First Mindset: You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting breakdowns, following safety protocols, and always ensuring a safe working environment.

Maintenance & Repair: Conduct regular inspections, diagnostic tests, and repairs on tank trailers, flatbeds, suspensions, brakes, and air systems. You’ll work with major assemblies, components, and systems to keep the equipment in peak performance.

Handle Diverse Equipment: From tank trailers to flatbeds, you’ll be hands-on with a variety of systems and equipment. Operating tools and machinery safely is essential to your role.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience: Training or experience as a diesel and/or heavy-duty equipment mechanic is essential. An associate degree in diesel technology or completion of an applicable apprenticeship is preferred.

Skills: Expertise in tank trailers, brakes, air systems, and Civacon controls is highly valued. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and diagnostic skills are a must.

Certifications: ASE (National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence) certification and CDL are strongly preferred. A valid driver’s license is required.

Additional Assets: Experience with aluminum welding is a plus and will set you apart from other candidates.
