Position Goals
The Practice Manager at the Urgent Care center is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of urgent care services. This role involves managing administrative and clinical staff, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and ensuring a positive patient experience. The Practice Manager will work closely with healthcare providers, support staff, and external partners to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the urgent care center, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient patient care.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure availability and proper functioning.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise administrative and clinical staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement staff development programs.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient care.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the budget, monitor expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Oversee billing, coding, and reimbursement processes to maximize revenue and minimize discrepancies.
- Analyze financial reports and implement cost-saving measures where necessary.

- Ensure the urgent care center complies with all relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements.

Technology and Data Management:
- Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology to ensure efficient and accurate documentation.
- Analyze data and generate reports to inform decision-making and improve operational performance.
- Stay updated on technological advancements and recommend upgrades as needed.
