Job Description
Summary
The Breakfast Supervisor trains and leads the breakfast staff. They provide management presence while operating as an active member of the breakfast team. The available days needed for this position include Fridays and Saturdays or Sundays and Mondays.

Essential Job Functions
• Help train, coach, and mentor breakfast attendants and breakfast cooks
• Supervise breakfast staff during service from 7am-10am and support them by bussing and making coffees for guests
• Order, store, and organize food items properly
• Create daily reports
• Meet with Food and Beverage manager to coordinate progress on given projects and events
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 years of F&B management experience preferred
• 1 years of hotel industry experience preferred

Supervision Given and Received
Given: Exercises direct supervision over breakfast staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, frequent and detailed review of work, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Received: Works under limited supervision of Food and Beverage Manager. Receives guidance in terms of broad goals and overall objectives and is responsible for establishing strategical methods to attain them. Can formulate policies but does not necessarily have final authority for approval. Review of work is not detailed and emphasizes accomplishment of broad work objectives, rather than specific assignments.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time. Regularly work in wet, hot and humid conditions for extended periods of time and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces. Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance.
