Nordic Sales Leader
SUMMARY
The incumbent responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. Sales Leader duties will include hitting monthly, quarterly and annual budgeted and category targets, building relationships with key retailers, leadership and management of the Market Developers with and understanding customer and market trends, supporting these with weekly field support and customer visits alongside Market Developers. The Sales Leader will also be responsible for providing direction, leadership and support for the internal sales manager and the internal account managers with 2 – 3 days spent in the office weekly.
Ultimately accountable for the encompassed sales team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OUTPUTS
- Devising and implementing the company’s sales strategy.
- Aid in setting revenue and margin targets for the company and setting key performance indicators.
- Complete ownership of the sales and margin target. Ensure Leader Team are aware of expected positive and negative results ahead of times. No surprises!
- Integral contributor to the S&OP process monthly
- Leadership of the Market Developers and Internal Sales Team. Providing regular direction, feedback and coaching
- Work collaboratively with the Internal and Field Teams to ensure KPI’s are met.
- Be key member of the Commercial Team, with close focus on ensuring-cross collaboration across all departments. Communication is key.
- Min 2 days per week in the field with Market Developers / Customers
- 1 - 2 days per week in the office supporting / directing internal sales team
- Monthly contact with all Brand Stores
- Implementing sales strategies across the company and monitoring effectiveness.
- Keeping a close eye on the sales activities of competitors and utilising ideas where appropriate.
- Overseeing performance management of sales staff.
- Implementing a variety of new business initiatives to drive sales.
- Ensuring the organisation has an effective sales training programme.
- Working with members of the leader team on budgeting and planning.
- Implementing an effective sales pipeline and lead tracking process.
- Ensuring the CRM is being used effectively and provides a competitive advantage.
- Implementing best practice in sales techniques throughout the department.
- Responsible for key account relationship and management. To include touch points at all levels, quarterly performance / strategic meetings, forward planning, exploring additional opportunities and ensuring DP & Sales on both sides are working aligned and best placed to maximise Specialized brand
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Experience
- 8 – 10 years’ experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales director
KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
- Proven ability to position products against competitors
- Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills In (either) Swedish, Danish, Norwegian or Finish.
