Position Summary:
The Group Fulfillment Center Rental Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the Group Fulfillment Rental Center and staff. They will ensure all daily operational duties are completed satisfactorily either personally or through subordinate staff. The Supervisor will assist in supervising up to ten (10) employees at any given time, and delegate positions and special tasks during group fittings. They will maintain shop integrity and make sure operations are efficient and consistent. The Supervisor is responsible for generating revenue in their specific location through rental services and rental fulfillment. They will be available to work on weekends and holidays. The Supervisor must possess strong written and oral communication skills, computer skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude. They will be responsible for the daily opening and closing of location, staff management, daily and weekly reports, as well as merchandise inventory control. In addition, they will consistently follow all Winter Park policies and procedures, all applicable laws (federal, state, and local), and all health and sanitation codes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Supervise employees in all daily duties to ensure utmost compliance with company policies, procedures, standards, and goals.
Maintain a friendly, congenial, and helpful attitude when dealing with guests.
Select and setup rental equipment for guests, including:
Fit correct size boots.
Select appropriate size ski/snowboard and length.
Adjust bindings.
Ensure forms are correct.
Instruct guests on use of equipment.
Understand and utilize computerized rental system.
Perform continual maintenance and upkeep of rental equipment including:
Clean and repair boots.
Inspect bindings.
Repair pole baskets and grips.
Perform mandatory, periodic ASTM inspection and testing of rental equipment.
Comply with required risk management and indemnification procedures as well as other rental shop practices and procedures including:
Binding certifications.
Binding adjustments.
Forms, documentation, and records.
Signatures.
ASTM binding testing.
Post-accident reporting.
Consistently following essential safety protocols
Plan and prepare group schedules based on requested dates and times with wholesalers/group leaders.
Maintain the integrity of the Group Fulfillment Center by keeping room(s) clean and organized.
Work directly with Guest Services, Group Sales, and Group Ticketing in a timely matter to ensure proper fulfilment of rental contracts/manifests.
Oversee duties of In Room Fitting Supervisor when they are not scheduled.
Collaborate with other shop Managers, Assistant Managers, and Supervisors to ensure proper staffing and equipment needs.
Facilitate rental fittings for adult and child groups including outreach programs, faith-based groups, corporate, and social groups.
Deliver ongoing staff coaching and disciplinary action as needed.
Work to identify and resolve staff problems as needed.
Complete a daily opening and/or closing checklist to ensure standards of cleanliness and merchandising are always maintained at their highest level.
Close down rental location securely to verify the safety of all retail merchandise and rental inventory.
Adhere strictly to ASTM requirements and schedule.
Meet or exceed all daily, weekly and monthly budget numbers.
Account for all security issues involving cash, theft, liability and premises.
Keep rental shop in neat and orderly fashion to meet the standards of the department.
Serves the customer by answering numerous questions and gives the extra personal touch of customer service by assisting customer in purchasing complete product packages.
Maintains a positive attitude in an eight-to-ten-hour day, and on stressful high-volume days, in order to provide excellent customer service.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
High School diploma or GED
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
Previous customer service and ski/snowboard rental experience preferred
Qualifications and Skills:
Valid driverβs license to acquire driving standards.
Must be able to ski or walk to all locations.
Ten-key and computer proficiency.
Must be able to stand for entire shift.
Must be able to speak English and enunciate clearly.
Must speak/hear clearly over telephone.
Accustomed to constant customer and staff contact.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Office Environment:
Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis.
Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.
Ability to work for extended periods of time sitting, bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.
Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.
Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.

WAGE:
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resorts hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Winter Park Resorts total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
Hourly Pay Range: $21.50 - $23
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to harsh and varying outside weather conditions.
Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate.
