POSITION SUMMARY:

The Front Desk Agent will perform all the duties of the front office, including checking in/out guests, answering the phones and fulfilling guest requests as well as guest activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    General Responsibilities

    • Provide exemplary guest service
    • Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services such as amenities and different room layouts as well as resort activities including shopping, dining and entertainment
    • Act as a liaison between guests and other departments
    • Accurately complete AM and/or PM front desk checklists
    • Responsible for cleanliness of the lobby, all common areas and keeping the front desk manned at all times
    • Proficient knowledge and understanding of operating and work order systems (SMS, hotSOS, RTP, Zingle, Parkmobile)
    • Respond to guest service requests
    • Ensure timely communication regarding guest items and needs
    • Know and practice all safety and security policies and procedures
    • Other duties as assigned

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
    • Must be able to speak effectively in front of groups of guests and employees
    • Must be able to successfully manage multiple high-priority tasks

    The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods. Must be able to type, walk, reach with hands, stoop or kneel. Employee must be able to assist guest with lifting luggage if needed. Specific vision abilities required by this job especially looking at a computer screen for long periods.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer functionality required
    • High school diploma or GED. Ability to ready and interpret documents, basic computer skills. Must be able to speak effectively before groups of guests and employees.

    This position description is an overview of the scope of responsibilities for the role described above. It will also be the responsibility of any employee of Winter Park Resort to be a positive influence on the transformation of the resort and its associated lines of business.

    WAGE:

    The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resorts hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Winter Park Resorts total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
