DTP Specialist / Media Designer

In the role of DTP Specialist / Media Designer, you will support our design team by creating high-quality print-ready files and contributing to digital content production. This position is suited for someone with strong technical skills in print and digital design, with a focus on handling translations, setting up animations, and creating content across various formats for online and offline platforms.

We are particularly looking for someone who can manage technical aspects of DTP, ensuring that designs adhere to brand guidelines and meet production standards. While the video part may not be the main focus initially, there will be opportunities to work on animations and video content for social media, ads, and other formats. Experience in video creation will be considered an asset, and the role may expand into more video-related tasks over time.

Your Key Responsibilities will be:

Desktop Publishing (DTP)

• Create print-ready files for media, retail and merchandise, ensuring printed materials are accurate and of high quality.
• Handle translations and adapt existing designs for various languages and formats.

Digital Content Creation

• Support creating and executing all kinds of digital formats like; (moving) ads, graphics for our website and newsletters, and video content for various marketing and promotional purposes.
• Ensure all digital media aligns with brand guidelines and meets high-quality standards.
• Support the team with video (/animation) content, particularly in setting up templates for different languages and adapting existing formats for various platforms.
• Collaborate with team members to integrate video content into overall design projects.

Project Management

• Follow given timelines for projects/printed materials, ensuring they are completed on time and meet quality standards.
• Communicate effectively when timelines or project requirements are not feasible.

Technical Support

• Assist in maintaining the overall creative direction and ensuring consistency across all projects.
• Offer technical support to the creative team, including handling specific print production tasks and high-quality design and video outputs.

Learning and Development

• Stay up to date with Enhance design, and video, and animation editing skills through ongoing learning and staying current with industry trends to keep improving your skillset.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops and training to develop additional skills in animation improve design and video editing capabilities.

Collaboration

• Work closely with other team members to ensure cohesive and high-quality design and video outputs.
• Maintain contact with for example partners for printing
• Participate in creative meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas and feedback.

What You’ll Need to Win:

• Qualification in Digital/Print Media and Design or a related field.
• Experience with design and video editing software (Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Familiarity with various print production techniques and technical requirements.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail is key.
