We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chief Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold an Airframe and Powerplant Certificate, with PC12/24 technical experience and Inspection Authorization being highly preferred.
RESPONSIBILLITIES:
- To understand and comply with the policies and procedures of the repair station and maintain the Repair Station Manual and Quality Control Manual for the assigned additional location in a current status.
- To assist in maintaining current records of management, supervisory and inspection personnel, and qualifying the authority limits of each person-.for the assigned additional location.
- To assist in establishing and maintaining inspection personnel proficiency and to help confirm the qualifications of an individual who has been recommended for certification as a repairman for the assigned additional location.
- To assist in administering the training program at the assigned location.
- To monitor the status and condition of the calibrated tools at the assigned additional location and to inform the Accountable Manager
- To monitor the status of materials, data and general tools needed to perform maintenance and that they are available and current ( data) when work is being performed.
- Submit Malfunction and Defect Reports when necessary to the FAA
- Monitor the hangar and shop areas for any safety concerns and report those to the Safety Manager.
- Monitor the storage of hazardous materials including fluids, batteries and tires.
DUTIES:
- Review prepared work order packages for accuracy in coordination with the Director of Service for upcoming aircraft.
- Perform post maintenance follow up with customers.
- Add I update Canned Squawks in Quantum
- Notify the Accountable Manager of any changes that need made to the personnel rosters
and employment summaries
- Coordinate disposal of hazardous materials ( batteries, tires, fluids)
- Forward training records updates for as needed to the Accountable Manager
- Insert revisions into the Repair Station Procedures Handbook and/or Training Program Manual as necessary.
- Notify the Accountable Manager of any changes that need to be made to the approved contract maintenance functions.
- When rework is required, assist in the investigation of the cause of a deficiency.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
- PC12/24 technical experience preferred
- Inspection Authorization preferred
