Mountain Alarm, a Pye Barker Fire & Safety company, is hiring a Branch Manager in our Cody, Wyoming branch.


Position Summary: The Branch Manager is responsible for providing leadership and direction to branch staff including developing strategy and implementing action plans to meet corporate priorities. Responsible for total management involvement in all aspects of branch operations to include all sales, service, and administrative functions to achieve profitability and growth of the business.


Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for leading and overseeing branch operations

  • Implement programs designed to meet or exceed Corporate objectives in all areas of branch business; revenue, sales, and margins

  • Responsible for the identification, selection, and development of potential new and existing customers - emphasis on expanding customer base

  • Responsible for maintaining on-going, two-way communications with customers through staff from initial contact through order, installation, and service

  • Ensure contractual obligations are met, to include ensuring inspections are current

  • Actively participate in resolving customer problems to minimize concerns and attrition

  • Responsible for setting fair and manageable sales and service goals

  • Ensure that performance measures and goals are assigned and employees are motivated to achieve and exceed objectives

  • Responsible for organizing, developing, and empowering an effective team to grow the business

  • Work directly with upper management in the development and implementation of sales and operation strategies driven by you

  • Maintain a strong knowledge of all products including fire alarm and security alarm systems

  • Directly manages branch staff. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all units of operation

  • Other duties as assigned





  • Bachelor's degree in a business or engineering discipline OR equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

  • Demonstrated management/leadership abilities to include training, team building, presentation, negotiation, branch administration, and effective interaction with customers and company leadership

  • Ability to set and surpass aggressive sales, service and profit goals

  • Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills



  • Must be able to type proficiently and have a working knowledge of MS Office products

  • Clear communication skills - primarily among internal departments

  • Must read and speak English
