The Bell Attendant & Ski Valet plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest service at our hotel. Responsible for assisting guests with luggage, providing information, and ensuring a positive and memorable experience, the Ski Valet/ Bell Attendant contributes to the overall satisfaction of our guests. In your capacity as a Ski Valet, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the winter experience for our guests. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch ski-related services and ensuring guests have a seamless and enjoyable time on the slopes.

What You’ll Do…

  • Own and assist with all luggage handling and building orientation 
  • Own and assist with guest and member ski valet operations, running skis to/from storage and guest vehicles.
  • Escort guests to their rooms and provide an overview of hotel facilities.
  • Assess, optimize, and anticipate guest and member needs.
  • Assist with parking lot maintenance and snow removal 
  • Ensure the hotel lobby and entrance areas are clean and presentable.
  • Arrange luggage carts and maintain their cleanliness.
  • Refresh lobby water with ice as needed. Replenish lobby fruit bowl.
  • Offer information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
  • Use guests' names and make them feel welcomed.
  • Communicate efficiently with all Gravity Haus Teammates to create a memorable guest experience. 
  • Educate guests on our Gravity Haus Membership benefits.
  • Provide anticipatory guest service to ensure a comfortable stay.
  • Greet all arrivals to the building and assist in direction to the base of the mountain. 
  • Collectively work towards driving revenue across the Gravity Haus family. 
  • Be a bridge between all operations and front desk
  • Report any guest/member. issues and concerns.
  • Ensure the consistent execution of service standards.
  • Cultivate friendships and loyalty within the Gravity Haus community
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activity or safety concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Follow hotel security procedures to ensure the safety of guests and their belongings.
  • Be a Gravity Haus Ambassador with an active part in our mission and vision. 
  • Provide a genuine and elevated guest experience with a community focus, sustainable approach and driven attitude. 
  • Other duties as assigned by the hotel General Manager

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage.
  • Knowledge of local attractions and services.


Physical Requirements

  • The position may require standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in various weather conditions.
