Description
The primary role of the Bear Guard is to ensure the safety and security of both staff and equipment at a surface drilling location. This involves the installation and upkeep of an electrical bear fence encircling the site. The Bear Guard is tasked with vigilant monitoring for any bear activity and is prepared to take necessary action to mitigate any threats to human life or equipment. Food and Loging provided at a man camp near the work site. Shift work, 11β12-hour workdays. Work rotations minimum 3 weeks on, one week off.
Required Qualifications
Must be 21 and older.
Valid driverβs license
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in outdoor environments.
Prior work experience in private security, military service, law enforcement, outdoor/hunting guide, or similar field
Understanding of techniques for wildlife interaction
First Aid/CPR/AED training or higher medical certification
