Position: Account Executive

Role The ideal candidate has a track record of success in goal crushing, prospect hunting, and deal closing.
The Digital Advertising Account Executive is the key to Canopy’s success. You are the pillar of the company and bring ALL in the revenue.
Responsibilities
Contribute to revenue goals by obsessing over an MBO-based set of KPIs.
Lead a prospecting process through cold calling/emailing, inbound lead follow-up and social selling.
Stay up-to-date on our product, industry changes and our competitive landscape
Clearly articulate key value propositions in the context of customer needs
Manage a sales pipeline: identifying upsell and cross selling opportunities
Maintain strong knowledge of Canopy’s ideal clientele, internal case studies, marketing campaigns/service offerings, etc.

Longterm: Success will be measured by attainment of MBO-based quotas with KPIs such as the following:
Pipeline Created
Contacts Sourced
Meetings Completed
The ability to succeed as a self-starter will be key to success in this role.
Requirements (What are the required skills, abilities and knowledge the person must have)
2-3 years experience in a remote quota carrying position
Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.com or Hubspot
Experience as an Amazon seller is preferred but not required
Experience selling digital media advertising services is preferred but not required
Experience in an ecommerce-focused environment is preferred but not required
A strong “hunter” approach to sales with the ability to create, grow and close leads.
Comfortable working within an existing sales program setup for success
Ability to leverage resources as necessary, but possess the drive to work independently
Ability to focus on a fast-paced team and comfort with regular performance assessments
