Job Description

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, storing, picking, packing and distribution of products within the warehouses. Their duties will include loading/unloading trucks, organizing and verifying incoming product and preparing outgoing product for transfer or shipment.

Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for inventory receiving and warehouse put away of incoming product.
  • Responsible for picking, packing and transferring product to internal and external customers.
  • Loads and unloads trucks as new product arrives and outgoing transfers are completed.
  • Picks, packs and ships all product that is a part of the ABG request process
  • Fulfills the rental restocking request process including picking correct product, organizing transfers and ensuring all returning equipment is properly received, organized and racked.
  • Responsible for safely operating warehouse equipment which may include pallet jacks, freight elevators and dock lifts.
  • Always maintains a clean, healthy and organized environment/work space across all warehouses and warehouse properties
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Proven organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail required
  • Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Keeps commitments.
  • Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment that requires quick thinking and effective multitasking
  • Available to work extended hours including occasional holidays and weekends.
  • Ability to repeated lift weights up to 50 lbs.

Additional Information

Supervision Given and Received

Supervision Given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Supervision Received: Works under direct supervision of the Store Manager. Tasks are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently. Instruction, advice and assistance are readily available.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Ability to stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time. Kneeling and bending may be required
Regularly work indoors with no adverse conditions. Some positions require exposure to outdoor elements or a combination of both indoors and outdoors and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 25 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50 lbs.)
