Position: SPED Life Skills Teacher
Location: Uinta County School District #1, Evanston, Wyoming North Elementary
Salary: $53,400 – $80,400 (Placement commensurate with experience and training)

Qualifications:
The applicant must hold or be eligible for a Wyoming Teaching Certificate and SPED K-12 Generalist Certificate. Should have experience and knowledge of Reading, Language Arts and/or Math.
Content area certification is a plus.
The applicant must demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
The applicant must be familiar with the curriculum, teaching techniques and the general procedures associated with special education.
The applicant must have the ability to be a contributing member of a team working for the benefit of each individual student.
The applicant must be willing and able to work in inclusionary settings in addition to teaching in pullout programs.
The applicant must be able to supervise multiple paraprofessionals.
The applicant must be able to educate students with cognitive disabilities.
The applicant must be able to manage the student’s personal hygiene and medical needs.
