Position Summary
A post-doctoral researcher position is available at UNC in the STAR - LAB (Strengths, Assets, and Resilience Lab), focused on social contextual and cultural contexts of human development and well-being. The focus of this postdoc position will include, but is not limited to, research and methodological approaches related to family processes, father involvement, and child/youth development in diverse social contexts.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience
The candidate should have a strong background in developmental psychology. The candidate should have expertise on the social contexts of families and children’s development. Statistical expertise, including longitudinal and family-focused methodological expertise is required. The candidate should have evidence of academic excellence, good communication skills, and can work independently and in collaborative work environments.
