Job Description:

Are you looking for a change or a new opportunity to work 20 hours a week with benefits? Do you enjoy serving the public? The Nebraska Game & Parks Service Center at Bassett has a permanent, part-time Office Technician position open. This position offers insurance, retirement, sick and vacation leave benefits. This is a customer service position. It consists of selling agency permits, providing information to the public through phone calls and walk in customers and other duties as assigned. We are looking for a person with excellent communication skills who enjoys customer service and can work flexible hours to cover the office when needed.

Salary: $13.109 - $19.324

Pay rate may be commensurate with education and/or experience within fiscal constraints, if approved.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training or experience in public contact, customer service, and/or performing and applying office/clerical support procedures, including the use of a personal computer, associated software, and office equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Prefer previous experience in customer service and performing and applying office/clerical support procedures. Training on associated software and office equipment will be provided upon hire. Experience with Microsoft Office applications, e-mail, and navigating online sales software a plus.
