Cheyenne, WY - Cleveland - Filling industrialIn particular, you will:
Drive truck with a capacity of more than 3 tons, to transport materials to and from specified destinations, by performing the following duties:
Deliver compressed gas cylinders, liquid cylinders and hard-goods to other branch locations.
Communicate in person with internal customers, providing information ordering and delivery times, etc.
Maintains load manifests and all other vehicle documents ensuring they are properly completed and balanced with truck counts and shipping documents before and after deliveries.
Accurately maintain records such as Department of Transportation Driver's Log and vehicle logs according to state and federal regulations.
Picks up empty cylinders from branch locations and returns them to the plant for refilling following all federal, state, and local regulations.
Operates a forklift, pallet jack or other warehouse equipment in order to load and unload trucks following all company policies and procedures.
Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections, document deficiencies and all equipment is in safe and good working order.
Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
Reads maps and follows written and verbal geographic directions.
May perform emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, etc.
Comply with all company policies and meets DOT requirements.
Assists with other driver’s scheduled duties as needed.
Assists inside the retail branch, servicing customers at dock, front counter and over the phone.

Class A CDL driver's license with Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brake endorsements.
At least one full year of experience driving a Class A Tractor Trailer under DOT requirements.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Current Medical Examiner's Card.
Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.
Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
Must be able to obtain a forklift operator certification
Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
Must be able to work occasional overtime if necessary.
Preferred Competencies:
Product knowledge of cryogenic, compressed and specialty gases, preferred.
