Location

Infleqtion has 6 office locations, operating out of Austin, TX; Boulder/Louisville, CO; Madison, WI; Chicago, IL; Oxford, UK; and Melbourne, AU. This position is a full-time, hybrid position which will be located in our Austin, Texas, or Louisville, Colorado offices.

Position Summary

Infleqtion is seeking a motivated and talented Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and integration of electronic systems and components for quantum technology products. The Electrical Engineer will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers, contributing to the advancement of Infleqtion's innovative solutions in quantum computing and sensing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, prototype, and test electronic circuits and systems, including sensors, control systems, and RF components.
  • Work collaboratively with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to ensure the successful integration of hardware and software components.
  • Conduct simulations and analyses to verify circuit performance and reliability, using software tools such as SPICE and MATLAB.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during the product development lifecycle.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute innovative ideas to improve product designs.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.


Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in electronic design and development.
  • Familiarity with analog and digital circuit design, including mixed-signal systems.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard CAD tools for PCB design.
  • Experience with testing and validating electronic hardware, including using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and potentially internationally up to 10%.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with RF design and signal integrity analysis.
  • Knowledge of quantum systems and technologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with programming and scripting languages such as Python or C.
