The role

As a Bid Writer at M&Y, you will compile bid submissions for our diverse range of workstreams including construction, repairs, maintenance, retrofit and the renewables sector for both M&Y and Ecogee.

You will work alongside our Directors and central bidding team. This role will lead on all aspects of bid management from reviewing opportunities, writing quality responses, collating all required information and ensuring compliant tenders are submitted.

 

The right fit

  • Demonstrable bid writing experience, preferably within the construction/repairs/renewables sector.
  • Excellent ICT Skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent English Skills - both written and verbal, with a particular flair for writing in a compelling manor whilst being concise and accurate.
  • Understanding the importance of demonstrating our commitment to social value and community engagement in bids.
  • Ability to translate raw data and technical information into compelling quality responses.
  • A proactive self-starter, who enjoys having ownership of their role and can manage their own time and prioritise workload working on multiple bids at one time.
