Job Description:

JOB DUTIES: This position will perform a wide variety of general administrative/technical support. Tasks include maintaining records, preparing grant reports, managing databases, monitoring grant deadlines & payments, reviewing invoices for accuracy and prompt payment, customer service at front desk, weekly deposits, customer program/registration support, Support events and outreach functions as needed, ensuring proper certifications for instructors are maintained, instructor/student mailings, purchasing supplies, preparing/reviewing purchasing logs, reviewing vehicle logs, timesheets and credit card payments for compliance and accuracy, among others.


Requirements/ Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training or experience related to research, presentation, or publication in an area related to the programs or functions of the employing agency; business administration; accounting; customer service; and/ or technical support work, including use of computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.

Other: Driver's license is required.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: Knowledge of: administrative and office processes and procedures and associated computer applications such as word processing, file management, record keeping, and database management; customer service processes and principles; specialized processes and terminology associated with assigned work.

Skill in: active listening; asking questions; understanding instructions; assisting with education programs and at expos, outdoor shooting and other events.

Ability to: communicate and exchange information and ideas with others; interpret and apply policies, procedures, and regulations; track and monitor information; retrieve information from a variety of sources; coordinate resources and people; maintain confidential records.
